This linear fitting has a round opal diffuser that emits a uniform light both sideways, and upwards. Think is unlike a traditional up / down linear profile that hase a narrower distribution, creating a “line” on the ceiling, especially where there is a lower ceiling preventing the fitting being suspended any distance from the ceiling.
